I just love this bouquet of roses...love the color, love the textures, love the vase, love the style, love the groupings, just love everything about it. It is a very sellable, trendy, NOW bouquet!

I wanted to give this design a solid ten, but one little detail kept me from doing that.....The inclusion of the saw holly detracts from the roses. The reason for that is that the rose and the sea holly are form pattern materials in this design and they slightly conflict. Had you used a more submissive filler....like rice flowers for instance, or a hint of limonium. This would have been a solid ten all the way.

No thanks on the Limonium or Rice flower, we're a different kind of florist. :) But thanks for the feedback.

Also, thank you all for the kind words, I'll pass it on to the designer who did it. She is going through a real difficult time right now and there is an artistic reason why the roses are broken up by the eryngium (sea holy) that a floral certificate or years of experience could never teach any of us.

Very nice salable arrangement but not all that creative. Not tremendously different from something that might be seen on Teleflora.com.

I love the earthy textures but would prefer them without all the looping foliage, makes the arrangement look a little too fussy.

I like this arrangement because it is very elegant and probably seen from the point of how sellable it is I would say it applies to the taste of a broader public. I love it's neutrality and the fact that it fits many occasions but still looks sophisticated!;)

That's true Randy, it's not that creative and is what you see in most shops across the US.

The mums, too many types and tacky vessel in the other hand, in the TF, design, is exactly what we were going for. That TF design is sooooo chic. lol - When someone wires in that design to a TF florist, they have to run out and buy some of that stuff or substitute. It's my opinion that florists should always have unique things in stock and not pretend they do because it does nothing to help their brand. And no Randy, misty is not cutting edge.

I have discovered that the cookie cutter florists who were born into this business have only one weakness. It won't put a great cookie cutter florist out of business, in which their parents and grandparents built up for them, but I understand their type a little better now and what they think is chic.
