I think you arrangement is lovely! I too am working on the whole "how to photo" thing. I think if you would have shot it a little higher, the foliages wouldn't have been as overwhelming at it seems. Good Job!
I really like where you were going, but as others have also said: less is more. Perhaps instead of using so many large leaves, use some smaller ones in the mix. I always love it when there is a nice variety of greenery. So glad you posted this Palms---way to go Girlfriend!!
Agree with the comments about the over-use (and over-glossiness) of the leaves but do like the groupings of the roses. A bit of practice at taking photos will also help you improve the presentation. A very nice effort.
This design immediately caused me to think of the two violinists on "America's Got Talent." They were called "Nuttin But Strings," and they were vibrant, excitingly unique, and fascinating.
