I had no idea that you had your own shop before Nunan's...I would love to hear you been there story...I feel like I am drowning slowly...every day that I break my break even I do a small dance and say a prayer that tomorrow I will make it again...I am lucky that I do not have a huge amount of debt and am trying so hard not to get any more...so that is why I feel like I am drowning slowly...Talk to you soon...

Lisa - thanks for the tip about the Clove Oil, but I don't think our customers are as devoted to yours with these trees. They always respond well to the "look" of them, but we frequently get calls after several days or a week about the odor. I'm hesitant to promote them, due to the ease in which customers seem to equate that smell with bad product, instead of the natural odor of the boxwood. Caspia is the same - quit using it almost completely. Just too risky to have our stinky flowers mis-understood! Gyp too, that stinky feet smell, but only once in a while, so there isn't as much of an issue.

Hey Lisa, you know how it goes with kids and work, always on the go. My Ftaher keeps saying he is training them for the buisness (yikes). They went on deliveries with my mother and got dress up and got a 20.00 tip so they are set to do deliveries all the time. ( hate to break it to them but a 20.00 tip is so not the norm) are you doing the flower show this year? I hear you are doing the aifd convention. you rock hows the family? the dogs do you still have them?
Lisa - I love the idea that you sell boxwoods undecorated. I would love to sell more of them, but hear frequent comments and complaints about the odor of the boxwood (stinky feet smell is a common comparison :> ) Even though we add evergreens to mask the fragrance, it still sneaks through. Have you found any way to combat the scent of the boxwood greenery?
