I'm a 4th Generation Flower Shop Girl. My Great Grandmother, Jessi Fredericks, Opened Frederick's Flowers, in an Old Cannery, at the End of WWI. My Grandmother, Alice, Grew Up There, Worked There, and Raised My Mother There; Who Also Grew Up There, Worked There, and Raised Me and My Twin Sisiter There. When My Mama Jesse Died in '95, We Held on 5 More Years Until Her Greedy Brother Forced Us to Close, Sell the Property, and Give Him His Half of the Estate. My Mama Opened Nature's Corner a Few Years Thereafter; She Was Lost. We All Were. Its a Constant Struggle, but It's All We Know.. and We Get By.. and I'm Raising the 5th Generation of Flower Shop Girl.. My 3 Year Old, Veda. We've Finally Cut Ties with the Evils of Teleflora. Officially, as of Jan 1, 2012, We Are No Longer Under Their Oppressive Thumb.. I'm Currently Fumbling Blindly Through the Ins and Outs of a Complicated New POS System, a New MCP, and the Worry of Whether or Not Flower Shop Network Will Be the Great White Hope that We Need it to Be. I Welcome Any Good Wishes, Criticism, or Suggestions.
