Haven't seen this from 1-800-Flowers.com before - they're now drop-shipping at least one pre-made arrangement - this offering - from the Martha Stewart Collection.

- Centerpiece arrangement of purple kale, green spider mums, lavender 'Cool Water' roses, green 'Kermit' poms, seeded eucalyptus, and salal
- Arrives in a bark basket measuring 4"H x 8.5"D
- Arrangement measures approximately 12.5 x 17"W
- Shipped overnight to ensure freshness
Might just be a test to see how consumers respond. Has 1-800 been sending out fully completed designs by box in the past?

PF is running drop-ship arrangements for Thanksgiving but they're mostly made of pines & cedar.

FTD, which has drop-shipped designs in the past, is offer full-blown arrangements like this 'Grateful Gatherings Centerpiece' for $49.99 plus delivery.

Right now, it look as if only about 50% of the floral products on both 1-800 and TD are florist delivered.

This should be interesting, especially when they receive the package upside down. Maybe it'll say "hand created by Martha" How much water do you think will be left by the time it's delivered?

That arrangement in foam might actually ship ok in the right packaging.
I mean, they must have shipped it around to test how it arrives. I would worry that the Kale would smell stinky though. I would like to see how one arrives but I don't want to pay for it. I'd be willing to chip in to someone willing to order it and videotape or photograph it when it arrives.
