Not ONE incoming order so far this month from .coN. I did not even get the satisfaction of rejecting them!

Now back to our regular programming.

No 1800 orders here for Christmas.... I am done with them 12/31!!!
A couple from blooms today.. rejected.. they are a pain in the A$$..

My website is rocking!!!! :bangles: - More money in the bank for me!!!
 
You guys aren't getting their orders because they are being "big brother" and punishing you for rejecting orders in the past I bet.

They also may have hooked someone in your area(s) into being a "premier" member. Premiers pay big dues, have to carry ALL of their containers and take ALL orders in how ever many zips they rope 'em into and for any dollar amount, no rejects allowed.

They tried to get us to be a premier customer, their price was outrageous. We told them no thanks, we have decided to get out at the end of December. Cannot wait, they are still sending us arrangements, and we have rejected the ones that were too far out for us, and the ones that were not enought money.

When we were with them, we got orders for other towns, some 35 miles away, seldom for our own town (have to wonder where ours went).

I asked them more than once what was up with that, no answer of course.

Funny a Dish Network Installer/Knic Knac place next door to us, put in a small used cooler and joined BloomNet!! I guess that means 1-800 doesn't mind their flowers being delivered from an old Dish Network Van. hehe!! Nothing has left that place yet, and probably won't. There are some dead yellow roses in the cooler. Hope no one confuses them with us!! Darn, 1-800 continues to mess with us, years later!

Yea, like that's a deterrent... not punishing me... I talked to the two newbie members here in town, they say there not seeing too many either..

I know their volume is down, it'll be interesting to see just how much when their numbers come out in February or so...
 
I have resigned both TF and 1-800 effective the 31st dec..or jan ? (now I gotta look again) anyway 1 order for 1-800 and one or two for TF ...I am still ftd because I am the only florist with FTD here...bought 4 new domain names and my web site is picking up. I do not miss the crazy orders I got from either of the wire services. I want to be WS free asap completely even from FTD. I got calls today from customers who were trying to send into this area claiming FTD had emailed them that the product they requested was no longer available. I heard the one guy on hold with them cancelling his order and giving it to me.....on credit card yayyyyyyy.....I had the WS talk quickly with him and told him call me any time...he said oh little lady I will for future orders no worries......I grinned yayyyyy
 
They're obviously taking flak for the scam and have made an announcement about their marketing partnership with the .... opportunists... who sent out the checks.

Dogs... fleas....

The corporate folks who signed up with both the check scammers and the WebLoyalty-type fraudsters put profits ( and perqs?) before the brand. Short term gain for long term pain?

Hey, Karen, us too. Sent our letter certified on 12/21 to be out of 1800 by the end of the month. No orders from them here either. I get their customer emails and until yesterday, most of their site was directed at drop-shipping. Now today, the emails are all about, "get your order in by Noon today for delivery before Christmas, for florist delivered items".
I think they're DONE!...at least HOPE so.

:walking:I made a decision this week to no longer deliver an order for any order gatherer, not even big ticket orders...period. I'm sending a ceritfied letter stating I will not deliver, reject, refuse or resend it. I'm covering my butt but if I get booted "OWH". If we keep feeding them they won't go away. We have to learn from the past and build a brighter future for us not them.

I haven't done 1800 for 11 months already. Still paying on a POS can't leave just yet, lol...but looking to do the day I will. Just so fed up with the order gatherers and deceptive listings. It's finally getting through this thick head.
