1948 Tax issues

While going through Kathie's grandmothers house, we came across some interesting stuff. . . . .old stuff.

This was typed on the back of a sheet that came from a Labor Report of some type (rows of numbers of no apparent significance) printed by Prentice-Hall in 1948.
I have to assume that they used this to conserve paper.
