I see where Jennifer Aniston plays a florist (a "Teleflora florist" according to a Teleflora Dove message) in the upcoming film, Traveling.

I wonder is this is going to another representation of florist that has a beautiful merchandised shop, and she (the films rarely show a florist with more than one employee) is casually making an arrangement while she is dealing with all of her life issues.

Is the movie coming from one of the Resnicks' studios?

Teleflora is thrilled to announce that we have just formed a branding partnership with the producers of the upcoming Universal Pictures movie Traveling*

Starring Aaron Eckhart and Jennifer Aniston

The film is a romantic drama that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day. Aniston, who plays a Teleflora florist, has a shop filled with Teleflora branded items, from Teleflora ads to the Teleflora Directory. Plus, she receives a bouquet that has inspired Teleflora’s gorgeous new Valentine’s Day gift – Teleflora’s Traveling Love Bouquet.** Look for the movie to premiere in 2009!

Actually, Marie Ackerman was the florist. She said the experience was fun and Jen was very nice.

And you can win a trip to the premiere if you buy the traveling container before Sept. 22...

3 prizes for the trip
and 10 prizes of $100.00

Wow..I am all excited....not!
Don't you find they are doing a lot of contest lately.

Anything that promotes flowers, sending flowers, buying flowers, TF or not, seems like a positive thing to me. Will they portray the profession of being a florist accurately, probably not, she will most likely live in a fabulous beachside home, with a gorgeous flowershop full of inventory..you know, just like each of us.

what do you mean??? The movie is based on Marie Ackerman????

Yep! Just kidding. Marie was flown in to do set decoration and design all the florals in the movie. She even had to train Jen so she looked like she was doing the designing. Cool gig, huh?

When did she do that? I want to be a cross between Hitomi and Marie.

I'll say it's a cool gig. I want gigs like that.

If it's the brown satin container, I really like it and I also like the bright green one. Rainbow floral is carrying a brown and green polka dot ribbon that coordinates really well, very cute.

wait, have you actually been in my shop - sounds just like it! My favorite quote ever was from a customer who told me it was so peaceful working in a florist, like a library ;).

What ever happened to that other florist movie - the indy one about actual gossipy stuff that happens in a florist ... can't remember the name anymore.

Hum! Traveling Love Bouquet. That kinda sounds familiar.

Oh, the traveling kindness bouquet. Thats why it sound familiar.

Strange don't you think. Maybe I'm just paranoid but aren't there teleflora spies lurking within this forum?

Anybody have any idea what it looks like?
