2009 - Thanksgiving and Christmas Coupons Codes
Thanksgiving Coupon Codes
PRAYED
GRACES

Christmas Coupon Codes
DAZZLE
SPICES
COOKIE
WARMTH

All coupons are $10.

Just a reminder, to be paid for these coupons by Teleflora please submit the physical coupon along with a completed coupon log (found on Myteleflora.com).

There is a time deadline too.... not sure off hand what that is.

We have received about 10 of these PRAYED AND GRACES codes/coupons in the past three days.

Didn't Teleflora institute a new policy that the coupons could only be redeemed by florists who were participating in their advertising programs? I think that's the case...what a bunch of bs! I've already had 5 of these coupons come in...I have to honor them without reimbursement from Teleflora? Beyond belief! The coupons are good for any Teleflora item. It's absurd!

Even if you don't get reimbursement for some reason. What is the difference b/w handing out $10 gift cards to prospective new customers in your community and someone reading the USA today, cutting the coupon and bringing it in your store? Isn't the idea to get either a new customer in your store OR give a current customer incentive to make a purchase?

I'm curious though, why you don't get reimbursed?

Coupon Redemption Policy
Our Coupon Program allows florists to redeem customers’ nationally advertised Teleflora coupons at point-of-purchase. We reimburse florists for the full face value of every properly redeemed coupon. In this way, we make it easy and convenient to increase your sales!
Following are all relevant redemption deadlines and requirements. On the Redemption Log is information we’ll need from you to process your reimbursement. If you have any questions, please call us at 800.421.2815 in the U.S. or 800.668.5770 in Canada.

  1. Coupons are redeemable only in the United States and Canada.
  2. Coupons are redeemable only when the consumer purchases the product specified on the coupon, prior to the expiration date listed on the coupon.
  3. Member florists should deduct the face value amount printed on the coupon from their retail selling price. All redeemed coupons should be sent to Teleflora with a completed Coupon Redemption Log no later than 30 calendar days after the holiday. Teleflora will not honor any coupons received directly from consumers or a coupon processing facility.
  4. Coupons are void where regulated or prohibited, or when reproduced, altered, or transferred to groups or individuals engaging in the secondary distribution of Teleflora coupons. Teleflora reserves the right to be the sole distributor of coupons and shops may not engage in secondary distribution of coupons to consumers.
  5. Consumers must pay any sales tax involved.
  6. Multiple coupons may not be used for the purchase of a single item (bouquet). Limit one coupon per bouquet per family, household group or organization.
  7. For each properly redeemed coupon, member florists will be reimbursed for the face value printed on the coupon. Teleflora’s actual count of coupons received shall be final and shall govern our payment.
  8. For Local & Wire Orders: Member florists must fill in their Teleflora shop number on each coupon and check the box marked Local or Wire Order. These coupons should be tallied and submitted with the appropriate completed Coupon Redemption Log(s).
  9. For Internet Orders: Coupons redeemed with your shop through a recognized Teleflora website like Teleflora.com or one of the eFlorist ProgramTM sites have already been counted. Do not re-enter these coupons on this form. Credit will automatically appear on your clearinghouse statement.
  10. On request, member florists must provide Teleflora with invoices showing purchase of product sufficient to cover coupons submitted. Teleflora reserves the right to deny reimbursement, retain, and declare void any coupons presented for redemption that are in mass cut condition, in violation of these stated rules, or otherwise incorrectly redeemed. Teleflora reserves the right to forward any such coupons to enforcement authorities for review.
  11. In the event a member florist’s payment is withheld, the member florist must appeal the decision of Teleflora within six months of the date of notification. Appeals made more than six months from the date of notification will not be honored by Teleflora.
  12. Any inconsistent use of these requirements constitutes fraud.
To redeem your Teleflora coupons, send them with your completed Coupon Redemption Log(s) to:

I wonder if it would be worth trying this out?

But are the coupon codes only to be used for certain products only?

I have been recieving the emails all week from Teleflora. I just tried out one of the emails that discounted the service fee $14.99 savings.

When I applied one of the codes it removed the $14.99 savings and reapplied the other coupon code for $10 off.

I guess since I'm a Teleflora Member I'll need to see how I can take advantage of this for Christmas. I can't believe I missed this. Was it in our statement or marketing package? This could be a really great way to promote some savings for our customers!!!

I just had a customer trying to use a $10 tf coupon on my tf website. she was on find a florist and directed to my site.

The coupon would not go through.

she calls and asks why she can't use it. I told her to give me the order over the phone and forget about the $10 coupon.

I am getting really annoyed with TF's policies re: coupons. They need to forget that advertising coop requirement (assuming it is still there) and just redeem all of these coupons.

Coupons should be redeemable by all TF members or none, otherwise the redemption policy is too confusing for the customer. And we do not want unhappy customers!

Just above what Heather cut & pasted, is this on MyTeleflora:

We at Teleflora are happy to report to our florists that we have increased our national advertising budget for the 12th consecutive year!

This season, more than 150 million households will see Teleflora products in top newspaper and magazine ads and in our spectacular television spots. As always, this advertising exposure will send customers directly to participating Teleflora florists to purchase these unique floral gifts.

Our Coupon Program allows Teleflora florists who participate in a specific holiday co-op program to redeem nationally advertised Teleflora coupons related to such program at point-of-purchase. We reimburse florists for the full face value of every properly redeemed coupon. This way, we make it easy and convenient to increase your sales!

The following are all relevant redemption deadlines and requirements. To the right is the Coupon Redemption form we'll need from you to process your reimbursement. If you have any questions, please call us at 800.421.2815, in Canada call us at 800.668.5770.

So according to the rules & regs, no mention of having to participate in the co-op ads, but one line in the above says you do. Hmmm. So which is it?

Brenda, from TF customer service, just told me that we can redeem the coupons, meaning that we can accept them from customers, but TF will not reemburse us for the coupons. Florists must participate in the advertising campaign in order to collect from TF the face value of the coupons.

We do not participate in the co-op ads, but we do accept the coupons just as we accept any competitor's coupon. To me $10 is worth getting an order and turning away a customer is just bad business. We get their email address and home address and add them to our direct mail/email list and will hopefully turn them into a PLAZA customer.

You must participate in the co-op, although the way these rules are listed. One could argue differently and possibly get paid for their coupons.

Don't you have Poinsettia's to water?

Don't bother explaining it. Just take the coupon and accept that that order cost you $10 , just as a $40 incoming wire order would, OR any number of advertising efforts.

If you put your pretty face on a $1200 billboard for 30 days and averaged 4 orders per day from it.... $10 per order.

That's Great!

I am with Teleflora and work on this marketing program. That is great that you got 5 coupons! Yes, you do have to participate to get reimbursement. If you got 5 coupons without even being listed in the ad, that is exceptional. You can take the coupon and sell the customer any arrangement. If you want reimbursement, sign up for the next holiday. You will probably get many more orders. We have seen a 30% increase in orders.

.

Which is what i did this morning (before I read your recommendations ... great minds....... )

The Co-op program IS a great advertising tool. We have seen increased redemption for our participants. If you are a shop getting orders w/out participating, that is amazing because somehow, consumers were able to locate you w/out your shop being listed on the ad. Take advantage of that of take the coupon! If you find yourself getting too many coupons (say 10+), it may make more sense for you to join the program for the reimubrsement.

I know it would be great to reimburse every member. However, these ads are really costly and Teleflora does it to promote local florists. As you know FTD has already cancelled their Co-op program because it is too costly. However, Teleflora is committed to it really to bring florists more orders.

Have a great holiday season!

correct me if I'm wrong please... but don't the participating members pay for the advertising? And yes, they are very costly...

As you know FTD has already cancelled their Co-op program because it is too costly.
FTD canceled them because florists refused to pay for them, because the container were junk. ;)

Oh and, never mention your competition, it only makes one look like they can't stand on their own merits.

Have a great holiday season!
And to you too Anda, may your holidays be blessed.

Yea I was going to say the samething.

Sure it cost you $10 to get the customer. So technically you only spent $50.

What is the cost of the advertizing in the Co-op now a days? If you spent $100 and only recieved 5 orders then it would of cost you $20 each since you would get the $10 back for each coupon submited.

I know I did these things the first two years and never saw the return on my investment. But I can't remember how much it was. Wasn't it like $170 or right around there?

I think I reieved 3 orders the first time and that just sucked. I even sent out the booklets and statement stuffers so it really cost me some serious money only to sell three of those products. I think it was for the wooden sleigh things or something.

Eric:
It is around $170.00 per holiday to participate.

I too stopped participating a while ago. We continued to take the coupons and submitted them for redemption until about 1 year ago, when we were stopped.

We allowed our customers to use a coupon for any TF order -- any product -- local or outgoing. And we were carrying some TF holiday products at the time -- just ordered late so we were not codified (on purpose), and did not have to waste time rejecting junk.

The original rule was that your could turn in the coupon, as long as you were a carrying some of the holiday product, and you were a TF member. Then....as always....the rules were changed by TF when they couldn't make money on us again.

One other point, why should I let TF get off not paying me for their coupon?

It's their coupon. I suppose this might be part of their marketing strategy. They know that florists will redeem the coupon from the customer but not get reimbursed from TF and if that is the case, its pretty skunky on tf's part.

We participated in the coop ad for Mothers Day, nada, nothing, no coupons, no direct results that we ever saw.

Agreed. Skunky. Lol.

Have you been breathing in pesticides again?
