I don't have a website address, yet.
I just started this fall in the floral business. I am 22 years old and am graduating from Purdue University in December. I did flower projects for 10 years in 4-H, working on my second wedding, a member of SAF, work at Purdue University in the Flower Lab, interned at Bennetts Greenhouse Floral Department, completed two floral design classes at Purdue University.
I saw that some members on uBloom.com were members of Floral Chat.
I am interested in learning from other florists and knowing what's going on in the floral world. I also want to contribute any knowledge I can to help other members.
I can ask questions that can provide other members the opertunity to share the knowledge they have.
I operate from my residence.

Wow, I guess I didn't realize that everyone would see my intro or I would of made it more intro-ish! Well, what's done is done and I am more than happy to answer any questions and to see any comments concerning me. Can't wait to get to know you!

Not an inquisition but could you answer a few more questions?
Do you operate as a business, such as business taxes, insurances etc?
Are you planning to be a full service florist or an event florist only?

I'm glad to answer your questions b/c I know my intro was brief. I do operate a business with those taxes and all. I buy wholesale silks and fresh flowers that I arrange at the school flower lab as I do not have a cooler yet. : ) So far I am only doing events but I am asked to do interior arrangements from time to time. (Which I love.) For the events I have a contract, pricing papers, and instructions. But, I am planning to be a full service florist which would most likely take a few years so for right now I'm an event florist. I hope to find a new job soon at a full service florist shop working as a designer, but I won't know where to look until I know where my fiancé gets a job. Thanks for asking!
