Hmmm... did not see the "howcast" link... but interesting none the less...

The link is labeled as "Watch Video" and is located under the 'Designed by You Local Florist' banner.

The video is actually pretty informative and makes distinctions between local florist delivered and drop-ship flowers. It's a good step in the right direction (although I disagree about Birthdays and Anniversaries being better suited for boxed flowers.)

I thought the inference to "full blooms" from local florist and "tight buds to continue to bloom" from boxed a bit much, inferring their boxed flowers last longer?
And the notation regarding some hospitals, workplaces etc may not accept shipments of boxed flowers was interesting also.

But it's true. We all send lilies out with at least the lowest flower open. Direct shippers send everything closed tight - like we receive them from our growers. Most of the flowers don't arrive to us 'wow' - we remove guard petals, hydrate, condition, open and arrange. Received In a box, the recipient gets to do all that - and their flower may last longer since they get to wait for them to open and look like something. Think alstroes - new, they're droppy and unimpressive but a few days later in water, they're gorgeous.
