Refused two FYF orders this a.m. (again) early. About noonish, get a call from someone who wants to know if I could deliver a Teleflora order in Bangor. I tell them no but I can place the order for them (caller ID was private). They said no thanks did I know if there were any Teleflora shops in Bangor, I say yes there are 5 shops that service Bangor and gave him a couple of names. Then I hear background (muffled boiler room) He asks for the phone number of one shop, I give it to him, (more sounds getting louder in background the phone has a slight echo and delay between speaking)... Hear more boiler room so I ask him who he's calling for, he says From You Flowers and his look up doesn't show any Teleflora shops in Bangor - I told him he could look it up himself and hung up. Where the he!! do these people get this nerve??
Believe me now I listen very carefully to background noise now, especially with every "private" or "out of area" phone ID.

They sent me one on Tues for $30.00 I told them I needed more money to deliver way out in the country. They said cancel it so I did. Guess what they call again today with same order told them I'd need more money said they would have to call customer to see if they could get it. Anyone want to bet how many more times they try to send it thru for that amount of money. Other shop in town has no wire service so we'll see how many more times they call.

They seem to be playing a percentage thing. If they send you the order multiple times there is always the chance it might slip through.

A while back we had an OG try to send us an order probably 10 or 11 times. Finally I sent a message along with the refusal stating that if we were to have an earthquake and the town they want to send to would suddenly move 20 miles closer to us we would gladly fill it. I also requested the "shop owner's" cell phone and home phone numbers so we could notify them immediately at any time day or night if such an event were to occur. That finally stopped it.

I got one today from them for a $44.90 arrangement with a paragraph of specific colors and flowers. Rejected and told them it was under my minimum. Later Nan got the order and printed it. I recognized the name and told her I rejected it. They had sent the order back and added .10 to the order for $45.00 - rejected it on principle.

Had not heard from F U flowers in over a year. Today I received 7 of their order, refused all. Guess they must be having a hard time getting them out for them to come to us.

Had another florist in town ask us if he could forward all the orders he was getting for Sunday delivery to us because he knew we would be open and delivering. NO Thank you, we told him. These order gatherers are the ones we have been preaching to them about filling for 10 years.. they just don't get it!

We had so much trouble with them this Mother's Day we have decided to block them for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. We simply don't need the additional stress and hassle they interject. They simply don't have a clue. We received every order that we rejected at least two more times! Nobody around here wants to deal with them. I did have them cough up the additional money for one order, and it was the only order out of all of them that we could not deliver today. I left a message every time I called the recipient so she can't say we didn't try to reach her. She just wasn't home all day and we don't leave anything if recipient is not home. So I will get to fight with them on Monday. WooHoo!!

You don't even have to listen to background noises, Rhonda...you'll know it's FU when they call and can't even speak English! I had at least 20 calls from them and couldn't understand a foreign word they said! We don't fill for them anyway...I don't care what language they speak.
