today wasn't a gang buster dollar day but it sure did make me feel good. My first customer picked up her plants and was so happy that I was able to find plumosa fern because others told her it was only a cut flower. Next a gentleman came in to get a bouquet for his wife as her grandfather had passed and he wanted a little something to cheer her. He then found out I delivered to her workplace so he took my card. When I was running his credit card and recognized his name. I mentioned that i did his sister's wedding flowers. He said he wished they had gotten married closer so I could have done the flowers because hers were so much nicer. A lady came in to drop off used vases(12 or so) and said she had lots more. then my last customer of the day stops in to drop off a bucket I let her borrow. She asked if my ears were ringing because the group I did a flower demo and make and take for on monday loved it. they had so much fun and were really happy with their own results. They also told her that I would be the only one they order from. This was 15 ladies that lived in an area that had been covered by a florist that recently went under and now I have an in. It was a feel good day and this is me SMILING:sblush:
