Just had to share... I received a raise today... an excellent review etc. The best part of all... I didn't have to ask for it and it's retroactive to my 6 month anniversary! :)

Perhaps not a big deal, but it is such a pleasure to work within an organization who lives up to their declarations and hiring promises. :)

Many congrats - especially on finding a boss that appreciates you. It's very gratifying to have someone you work for acknowledge your efforts and work ethic. That's the kind of boss I'm striving to be!

Often I forget who is an employer and who is an employee here at FC.

From the comments that you post, I can tell you have leadership skills and are focused on the success of the business, and that is why your employer values your contributions.

Now you tell me about the car! I thought you only sweetened the previous offer with a really big fly swatter. ;) There would have been some serious thought given if the car had been included... I hate having a car payment.

I heard they were dancing in the back room over their sheer luck in having you as an employee....and they are lucky....
I'll top Luc's offer ...how about a beachside apt and a car??????? Hurry and sign before hurricane season starts!! lol

You have a lot to be proud of and it is wonderful to work with someone who recognizes your value and worth. Congrats Lady V

I don't have an apartment or car to offer (more like a bike and a pup tent) but we harbor and hire lots of illegal aliens here in So Cal. :tongue

LOL Thanks Cathy. I'm not much of a camper, but I do like to ride a bike in a low traffic area... and I speak some spanish, so I might fit right in.
