if the post offices were more efficient (like most flower shops) she'd have had it for Christmas.......

Yes of course!!!! I thought it had been done already. :)

The postal service sent it via prehistoric brontosaurus express... but it did arrive.

That's Canada Post's New Express service :rolleyes: ; we have a Xmas pkg on the way from the UK - same service, I think it's waiting at the North Pole or Nain or Nunavut or ...............
 
I sent a calendar to a friend in CT for Christmas.. WA to CT.. should have taken maybe 4 or 5 days. I sent it on December 9 and she got it around December 27.

RIDICULOUS!!
 
I sent my brother, sister-in-law, and six (yes, 6!) nephews and nieces gifts on December 17 from Dayton to Springfield, MO. It still hasn't arrived! :eek:

Next year, I'm asking Rhonda to mail it!
 
OMG, Barb, that is awful! I think they're using this "bad weather" as too much of an excuse. Hello, it's winter... get that stuff delivered!

Oh no please don't....sent a candle warmer to Dad's companion...(not insured but triple bubble wrapped) it arrived in 6 pieces and took 8 days (to FL from ME). Sent another one, double bubble wrapped but insured for $50.....hmm got there in 3 days in one piece!
The Post Office does not respond to signed, valid complaints either! They don't need to thanks to the government. (but they're not a government division?? and no one can develop another "mail system"?)

Oh yes, all the wreaths I shipped the second week of December made it to Maine, Maryland, South Carolina, and Florida within 4 days???
