may gather no moss (Mick doesn't stand still long enough, although Keith is probably buried under it during the day), but I sure wish it gathered me and dropped me at the concert. :(

As much as I love the Stones just would not be able to handle all the people around . I become overwhelmed in a large crowd so I just avoid them. Was at a concert last Sunday with apx. 5000 people , was as much as I could handle.

I personally think it nots fair for the amount they spent on having htis concert instead of giving some to the business etc affected because of the outbreak.
I do understand its a PR things, and 1/2 million people is a freaking lot. I just hope some don't get rowdy....
I thought i saw somewhere that it will be televised on t.v.
Might as well have it in the comfort of your home.

The concert has been billed as a way to help re-energize the city's spirit. Half a million people converging to hear a concert, spending money on bus tickets, food, lodging etc. Gotta love that trickle down effect when it happens.

If it brings tourism to TO and convinces people that they're not going to drop dead of SARS at the Canadian Border, I'm all for it.

AC DC, Rush, ah man, I wish I coulda gone. Still, I'll settle for the gift show.

The best way to re-energize business is to give them a hand-up with bringing in multitudes of people, who will spend money...not a hand-out.

As Audra said...people need to know they will not drop dead from SARS at the border.

Neat tee slogan being worn at the concert...I CAME I SARSED I CONQUERED...

Wish I was there. :)

I see your points ladies, but I was trying to get at, is that we all got affected by the SARS issue and I know TO got the blunt of it
Oh Never mind....
