A Sunday drive.....

A Sunday drive to Ohio to place some flowers on my Father's grave for Memorial Day. Lunch with my sister in law and my daughter...some shopping....then the drive home!.... BUSTED.... speeding ticket!!! blush: doing 71 mph in a 55 mph zone. *sigh* $150!!!
now I have to go through all the garbage of driving back to the area magistrate's office plead guilty ask for leniency and hope he takes the 4 points off my license! :tongue:

Never gave it a thought why I the "Corvette" I passed was going so slow...he saw the cop and I didn't! lol
The cop thanked me for being so nice and not hollering and getting upset!!! I only wish he had seen the biker going in the other direction who had given him the finger!!! maybe he would have left me and chased him! lol

I got caught speeding in March. I was going with the flow of traffic and not paying attention.I plead guilty and paid by mail. Just got finished with defensive driving class this week to keep it off records for insurance. I manage to get a ticket each decade of my life. Should be fine now until my 60's.

They're definitely out there in force this weekend! In 2 short 15-minute trips tonight, my son and I saw about 15 police cars! That's at least 5x what we'd normally see.

Hubby got the seatbelt ticket Friday, on his way back from a greenhouse picking up plants. Does that make it a business expense?
