Can you pass this test ?

You are driving down the road in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die

2. A very old friend who once saved your life.

3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car?

Think before you continue reading.

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.

You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first. Or you could take
the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS....................

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer. He simply answered: 'I would give the car keys to my old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams.'

Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought limitations.

There is more, can you guess what the missing answer is?

Now that is thinking outside the box...this is how my husband thinks, I wish i could train my brain to think like this....I wonder how the brain develops differently in those that do have a looser thought process???

I would run over the old lady, she's going to die anyways, have sex with my wildest dream because after the first romp it just becomes hallway sex, and then drive to a bar with my old friend for a few drinks and talk about the good old days.

You've seen the test Thom.

The first part is the actual test. The fun answer is just fun.

That is like this brain-teaser of a question. ALso, requires a bit of thinking outside the box.

For some infraction, you are neither found guilty nor innocent.......but it is decided to let fate deal with you. Hence you find yourself in an empty arena with thousands of attendees........You are told by the judge that you are to choose one of two doors.....one will lead to freedom and the other will release certain death. Further more, there is a person at a station beside each door.....they are identical in every way......You are told however that one of the people will always tell you a lie, the other one will always tell you the truth. You do not know which one will do which. You are told you can only ask one person one question to ascertain which door to choose.

What question will you ask to gain your freedom?

does this dress make me look fat?

Before reading the other replies...

They are all waiting for the bus....why do you need to interfere? If you really want that "partner of your dreams" pick her up, say hi to the friend who saved your life and ask the old lady if she needs you to call an ambulance.

Then tell the interviewer that you don't think you'd be happy working for a company that wastes time asking BS interview questions when there is reall work to be done.

The Terry Pratchett answer is...Hold your sword to one of their throats and say "Which door leads to freedom and you're going through first so don't get clever all right?"
