After surviving 2008 spring, summer, fall, and winter of 2009 - Here we are at practically the first of July 1009 and I am once again a happy man. All last year, Fresh grown Peas and Butterbeans were not to be had......nobody, nowhere had them by the bushel......Well, I bought some today.
4 bushels of purple hull, blackeye, and crowder peas and 2 bushels of fresh butterbeans.
Mom and I are filling the freezer to overflowing almost.
