AIFD Across America and Diagnostic Evaluation Workshop

AIFD presented their AIFD Across America and Diagnostic Evaluation Workshop (DEW) in Austin, TX this last week end. So some florists attended the Texas Cup prelims and the AIFD Workshop.

There is something I about that Green Goddess arrangement I really love, but it's just too busy for me. There is power in simplicity. Don't get me wrong, it is inspiring, but the moss, amaranth and the strings holding the orchids is just too busy for me.

BTW, just read in the AIFD newsletter that the board has voted to discontinue AIFD Across America and the Diagnostic Evaluation Workshops next year and will replace them with smaller evening programs.

NE region AIFD did AIFD Across America here in Maine last Sept. It was very well attended and although I was at the registration booth not the seminar, I heard very good comments on the program. It enlightened most who attended. Hmm, evening seminars... may also have merit when associated with a state program weekend.
