All I know is that the AIFD website, aifd.org, says it's going to be in Boston. I'm hoping they will tell us a little more like that hotel or conventions center or whatever soon!

Boston, Baby....

I already have myself on the volunteer list and have filled out my scholorship and asked the hubby if he can send me if I don't get the scholorship for christmas or birthday present...

It may be the only time I get to go in the foreseeable future..

Boston is about 200 miles (320 km) north of New York city and about 2000 miles (3200 km) from the middle of Texas.

You could probably take a train or something to Boston if you flew into NY.

Where is boston? Is that New York or Texas or nowhere near any of them?

Massachusetts, right across the pond where the Mayflower landed from your end of the world...it is where the Boston Tea Party was in revolt of English taxes on our Tea.....Come on they don't teach you Brit's this stuff, it is a part of your history too....Isn't it???

I'm sure someone will know the exact answer you need, but, for now I will tell you it is ususally at the Marriott or another one in the same area. It is in the middle of downtown

Carol Bice

I thought it was the Copley Plaza? If you watch the intro video, I think it says where.

I'll find out for sure and post the information either later on tonight or sometime tommorrow as Ann Jordan AIFD ( symposium chair for Boston ) is here doing a presentation at Southern Retail convention.

Coincidentally, I am attending this same convention. So, I'll make it a point to ask the exact details from Annie.

Ha ha Lori, have you seen how much history there is on England alone? We only go to school for 12 years you know.... and with world wars, all the monarchy stuff, all the battles of britain, fires of London, the plague, god i am tired thinking about it :>

Oh, and dont test me on any of that either, i was not much good at listening at school... ;)

Oh, I forgot that you have so much more history about your own country to learn.....I just figured they would have touched upon some of the basics....But maybe I just know these things because I live just a mere 10 miles outside of Boston...I can see Boston from my house...It's all good history was never my best subject either, for world events I used to depend on my Dad, now that he is gone, everything outside my little corner of Earth could dissapear and I wouoldn't have any clue....
