Hello. My name is Pam and I am a retail florist.
I work for Dick Adgate Florist in Warren, OH.
I am the special events coordinator/designer. I have been in this industry for nine years. I love what I do. I started in this business by applying for a job here at my store. I was going to collage and looking for a job that would allow me to not work late nights (I hadn't worked a holiday yet!!). I was hired and nine years later, I am still here!! I owned my own shop for three years called Lucky Bamboo Floral. I did only special events ie, weddings, parties, etc. Once I became a mother, running a small business and being a mommy did not work for me. Plus our town was in serious trouble (layoffs and businesses going under) so I decided to close shop and focus more on being a mom. Fortunately, I was offered to come back to work where I started. Dick Adgate Florist. I am focusing on our special events and commercail accounts. I help during the holidays if I don't have an event going on for the store. I love who I work for and work with. It is like a second home here.
