I have been in the business for seven years and owned a flower shop for three years.
yes I have formal education.
I found FlowerChat on the internet.
I hope to share and gain new idea's in the florist business.
I operate out of a commercial space (downtown Banff) and I'm the in-house florist for the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

I was in Banff many years ago and hoping one day to visit there again.

By the way, we have the same store name.
I own Alpine Flowers & Gifts in Elliot Lake Ontario.

thanks for the welcome Luc and Dorothy. My name is Debbie and i'm a newby at useing forums. My store was called Apline Flower and Gifts too!! but I changed it to Gallery when I bought it. I'm looking so forward to sharing and getting idea's from other florists.

My store use to be Alpine Flowers & Gifts but when I bought it I changed it to Alpine Flower Gallery (just to make it mine <G>). It's so exciting to be able to talk to other flower people.....even Canadian Florist!!!!!! Happy New Years, Debbie
