Am I Crazy?

I went to Myrtle Beach for a long weekend with my family. Naturally, I am going to scope out some florists. So, I get out the phonebook and I recognized the name "A Blumen Affair Florist". I think I recognized it from flowerchat. I drove around for about an hour, couldn't find it. I can't look it up because I didn't bring my computer (I am supposed to be on vacation). I went to another florist and they tell me that one of the people who owned the company had cancer and they closed down about 2 weeks ago. Now that I am back, I try to find their info on here and I can't locate it.

Am I crazy and they never were on here or is it the operator (myself) and I am not talented in the search department?
 
You're welcome :) When you said that I was thinking the same thing as you until I looked and saw it was same name, different states :>
 
I know Clyde and Bud who had Blumen Affair. Clyde had surgery for cancer right after our SCFA convention in July. They are wonderful men who have served on SCFA and Southern Retail capacities. You can see their pictures if you go to our website

Bud is a current member of the Board of Directors, and Clyde, who has the cancer, is shown with the past presidents. It takes a while for the site to load for me, and the site is still under construction.

I'm sorry you didn't get to meet them because they are sweet, caring men. I know they would appreciate your prayers.
 
This whole situation is really strange for me. I would have sworn that I saw them on flowerchat. The one that I am "remembering" had nice logo...the words were in a special font (really thin, tall black lettering) and had some type of pink/hotpink avatar of some sort. I remember thinking that I wonder what it would be like to have a flower shop in myrtle beach.

I checked the ones that Heather listed. Neither are the one I am thinking of. I also looked for any florist in myrtle beach on here, there are none. I even did a word search, still no go.

I asked someone who works at Lazelles. Very nice lady. Gave me a tour of their shop, their history and photos of their destination weddings. I asked her about Blumen Affair and she told me about Clyde and Bud. She had wonderful things to say about them, too.

Perhaps this is Gods way of bringing to mind specific people who need prayer. Does he need to do it in a way that I am feeling like I'm crazy? :rolleyes:
 
As far as I know, they were never members of FC, although I told them several times that they should join us.
