The ad didn't state how many stems of orchids but shows two stems.
Are people so into "designer" throes that they'd pay that much?

That makes sense $30 for each stem of orchids, $15 for the vase and $15 for vera wang's name to be on the box....You know these designer's need to eat too.

Vera Wang has sold her name to many many products these days, including mattress, mattress pads, bedding, Kohl's department store lines, etc...
I think when I designer or artist starts doing that, the name/brand loses value. What next? Vera Wang Kleenex box designs?

Those Cym sprays, are running $62.50 each here, vase an additional $18.00 plus labor...and delivery....

We just used 20 sprays for a wedding show last weekend and they cost me $18.00/st wholesale...

The price isn't what bothers me, that seems right on. What bothers me is FTD getting into the name game like Vera Wang is going to sell flowers. They just continually miss the forest for the trees or whatever that expression is. Why not promote beautiful cymbidium orchids fresh from Thailand (or wherever)? Who gives a rats ass about Vera Wang anyway. She didn't grow the orchids. Oh they so miss the mark, all the time!!!!

Yes she is known for her over priced sell to the stars wedding gowns, must be she justed needed more money and Thought humm I 'll try selling flowers!! now theres where the money's at!! LOL
