Not sure how these pictures came out. I still have trouble with shadows especially with delphinium. I need an overhead light I think.
These are two companion pieces, one buffet style the other was set on a round table as it was a wreath base.

Very nice..love the use of the colors to punch it up...I know I must be ignorant but what is American Loggers?
I like your designs...was the "woodsy" branch from your yard? Cool stuff.

American Loggers on Discovery Channel tonight at 10 PM. Is shot in our town and above us in the Great North Woods. The boys the story is about are good friends (most all of them) and I had the utmost compliment when I did their family flowers for their Dad, the originator of their business. Premieres tonight and they're having a big party at a local restaurant.
BTW, Discovery crews are still filming. Especially during that 2 1/2 foot + snow storm we had Sunday/Monday.

Rhonda,

Loved the colors that you used in your design. Yes an over head light would help with color as would a piece of white Styrofoam acting as a bounce light. Put the Styrofoam in front of arrangement in a 45 degree angle and see the light it adds to the arrangement. This also gives you a nice soft lighting to even out the colors in your design.

Some colors are tricker then others to photograph but give that a try and hope that helps.

Haven't seen them yet but the crew at the restaurant said they were the most "gorgeous" flowers they had ever seen!
(this is a restaurant that gets their cut flowers from their food supplier)
I'll see one of the wives tomorrow morning, she works across the street from my shop and we always arrive and leave at the same time!

One of the boys always comes through our back door to order flowers for his wife who works across the street. Well..........the back door was locked and he came running through the front door...He left through the back door (he always parks out back behind the building)
Watch as they show "Pelletier's Pride" ....a type of pulling truck "Monster Style"..........
We've had a good laugh at this show cause, it's real life here. And these guys are so real in everyday life....The scenery has been true, those woods are my back yard and the mountain in the background could be a shot from the top of the hill where I live.
