The use of the wreath and cross to make the anchor was very clever. Nice work! I am sure the family was very pleased.

We delivered a shamrock for a funeral this weekend, and my hubby saw an anchor also, but made totally different than I would have ever thought.
It was a full sheet of styro, with the anchor made in the center out of flowers, and the empty space surrounding the anchor mossed. There was another shamrock made the same way as the anchor. I've never considered making a shaped piece like that, almost like a picture of the item. Our shamrock is made from heart forms, reinforced on the back with light wood supports to keep them together.
I love your anchor photo, and showed it to my hubby who saw the anchor "picture". He liked yours better as well, but I wondered which customers would prefer - a giant picture of an item, or a shaped form.
