I am looking for angels (not real ones) I get repeated requests for "a small angel tucked in"

Some of my customers mean really small like 1" in a funeral arr. and some mean a bit bigger but not much. So I started to look for angels on a pick, no luck. They don't need to be on a pick just where I started looking.

My customers want 'real' angels, so not cartoon, or stuffed bears with wings type of thing.

Can anyone help me and be my angel ???

China Direct.LLC ,phone 615-206-1381. They have a web site too. Angles on heavy wire pick, just what you ask for. Good luck.

I get them from China Direct too. Avery Baskets www.averyimports.com also has very cute (inexpensive) Cherubs that are 6" tall. They are $2.75ea and are easy to put in funeral arrangements. If you need any larger ones, Hobby Lobby has some beautiful garden angels that are often on sale 50%off.

Pavilion gifts small angels and large ones also. Phone # 888-762-4457. Very classy looking angels I sometimes sell the larger ones for funeral work instead of a plant. They are something someone can pack and take home with them if they are traveling.

I held a few over from Christmas to save for sympathy work, I have a hard time getting them otherwise. Gift Craft has a nice terra cotta looking sitting one, or they used to anyways.

Angels

Ganz carries a few different styles, similar to Pavilion Gift. Also, THT designs has some wire ones that look good in a plant, kind of topiary style.

we still sell tons of willow tree angels. Not just for funerals either.

I keep saying when are those things going to die. So far they haven't
one bright spot in the "collectible" relm

the ornaments are great options for smaller angels

I would definitely second the Willow Tree Angels. They are by far the most elegant version of Angels that I have worked with.

DeeDee--since you are local to me (sort of!) you should try Christmas Tree Shops. I have often found ceramic angels there -, some about 12" high, that are perfect for funeral work, and not expensive at all. Home Goods can sometimes have angels too. And I have found some occasionally in Dollar Stores. Ya just gotta be on the lookout!

We've been carrying Willow Tree angels since the company's inception. Can't tell you how many we've "tucked" into arrangements over the years.

We also carry cherubs in various sizes purchased through Sullivan's Silks and ceramic angels (6" tall, Lennox look glazing) from Burton & Burton for those customers who like a more traditional statue. We often include these in funeral arrangements, tucking them into maches and sprays or circling the bigger ones with floral rings or wreaths.

Last fall, I bought some little girl angels(fairies?) from Burton & Burton. We used one yesterday in a large planter we were delivering in sympathy on the drowing death of a 4 year old girl.

Customers like the fact that these pieces are beautiful keepsakes on their own, and feel they give a special sort of comfort to the receiver.
