Hi all!
Hope you are all having a good holiday season. Thank you for your notes of concern, and continued prayers. Prayer is keeping me going, as I'm sure it does for each of you.
I am now finishing up radiation for the breast cancer. I will be done with it on Wednesday, YEAH!!!!! I look like a cooked lobster, and am physically wiped out, but I know that this too will pass.
The most recent scans were done on Nov. 17. They looked good, but not good enough. I had hoped that I wouldn't have to see my oncologist for 6 months after the scans, but he's ordered another one for February.
All in all I'm doing fine. I'm volunteering at the cancer center twice a week. I'm still ordering flowers for the shop (from home), and I'm able to help out a bit once in a while.
My new theme song:

Please remember to get that colonoscopy!

You've been on my mind... thanks for the update. I wish you continuing success Anna.

Wishing the best to you.Like your music too.

You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers...glad to hear from you. Take care!

Annaleisa,
thank you for the update, I will continue to hold you in my thoughts and prayers.

I have my first ever colonoscopy! next week. In October when flying to New Orleans, I sat next to a oncologist, and before I got off the plane, he made me promiss to have a screening. I came home and made the appointment.

Annaleaisa, You can do this, let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

My Dear Annaleisa, you continue to inspire us all! What a fighter you are and have been! You remain in my prayers.

If there is anyone reading this thread who does not know this brave woman's story, you must do a search and learn about her. You will be humbled and inspired.

You Go Girl

Been thinking of you, prayers continue your direction.

Annaleisa,

So great to hear from you, and that you're doing well! Radioactive.. lol ... I shouldn't laugh, cuz my mom was radioactive literally for awhile. They implanted an isotope in her, of all things. We were warned not to sit next to her on that side. Yikes!

Love that youtube clip.. haven't thought of The Firm, and Paul and Jimmy in ages! Awesome!

And Janna, way to go getting a colonoscopy. The procedure itself is a piece of cake.. you're asleep (altho I woke up before they were done). The PREP is kind of challenging! Be sure you're home all day the day before. lol

Beth thanks for the encouragement. I go for a preliminary appointment this week. They will offer me choices of what I want to take for the prep. I heard the pills are the best way to go. and go, and go, and go...

Not looking forward to it.

Annaleisa, this is for you.....

OK, I did it, it's done and it was a walk in the park.:walking:The hype is way over rated and I would highly recommend it. It is the best preventative available.

Annaleisa I didn't take the pills because I am cheap. I took the Fleet Phosop soda. 1.5 oz the night before and 1oz 5am the next morning. Take like a shot with a chaser of cream soda. easier than a shot of wiskey.

thanks everyone for the encouragement.

thanks for the update (on both of you). It's nice to know that you have a family here at FC that care so much about each other.

Blessings
