Nothing at all floral related here. Just wanted to share a couple of pictures.

My kids are very happy to have had snow days the last couple days. (I work for a different school district, so I have had to work today.) Here is yesterday's snowman (green hat), made by one of my 19 year olds and my 9 year old. Then we have a message in the snow. Last, we have today's snowman, made by my handsome 9 year old, Tony.

Now I'm off to drive a bus in the snow... again.

Beth, those snowmen are about the size that we usually get to make around here when we have our maybe-once-or-twice-a-winter snowfall.

Your boys are soooo handsome!

First Beth your kids are so gorgeous... second, their persistence is amazing. Did they have to use a broom to sweep enough snow? ;)

Cute snowman too.

I love the new little "Thanks" icon. Very cool. Thank you all for your nice comments!

Yes, in the first photo, they DID sweep the driveway to get enough snow for that little snowman. Today, they didn't have to sweep so much.. we had more snow. How come sometimes the snow sticks to the cement and not the grass, and other times it only sticks to the grass? I'm confused.

We only get an inch or two of snow a couple times per winter, usually. This week has been one for the record books. It's been snowy and below freezing for about 4 days straight now. The kids love it... I'm ready for some good old-fashioned RAIN!

:) We're under a blanket snow storm warning for the next several days. Apparently there are three bigs systems working there way up from the States. At this point Beth the snow sticks to what ever it wants!

man you know it's bad when you gaze at the picture and stare longingly at the green grass, instead of the cute kids. Sorry Beth! a relook and yes they are cute kids.

Come on over to Michigan and you can build some snow GIANTS :)

The sky is yellow gray right now and we are getting hit with a winter storm. I just heard thunder and had freezing pellets hitting the windows. Business will be at a stand still today - no deliveries heading out. We will double up tomorrow.

ha! ha! ha! the radio personality just used the words "danger danger danger Will Robinson!" (my hubby and I will say that to each other and our kids will say WHAT???) to report on the winter storm warning that has been issued since last night..... I'm getting old......

lol Well, you can't see the grass any more. We got about 4" more last night. (All the schools were cancelled, including the district I work for. I'll be home sitting around til January 5, and I'M ALREADY BORED!) They're predicting another 4 - 8" tomorrow and Sunday. This is unusual for us. It usually melts and we're back to normal in a day or so. This will be a week under snow. I know, to you guys in the midwest and Canada, it's nothing, but it's really unsual for us. My poor little kid didn't get to give his teacher or bus driver their gifts (will save for Jan. 5), and I should be raking in gifties from my kids today, but no. (I'M KIDDING, last year I got a whole big TWO nice gifties.. it's not a big thing, and no biggie that I'm missing out on it.)

Quick Beth!!!!!!

Quick Beth, get your kids out here to Toronto, massive snow. They build themselves the "Mother" of all Snowmen, heck they can probably build anything they want out of all this snow.

Four inches... pish posh... that's cotton candy fluff. Doug, Beth has an obligation to stop in London first. :)

I would LOVE a trip to Ontario, but alas, I don't think I'm making any trips for a year or two. Now that we have one in college, there IS no extra money. It bites.

Well done, I enjoy the simplicity of the composition. Well placed nose and eyes, not too much froo froo. Nice all around design. The petite size appeals to me as well. I will give them a 9.2 out of 10.

Awww, thanks Chez!! That means a lot coming from you.

Today there's a 4' snowman in our yard, and a 5' one in the neighbor's yard, but I won't bore you with more pics.

Very cute pics...thanks Beth. Yeah, we go all out when it snows - don't we?! Today as I was taking my poodle out to potty, there was a gal in the business behind me, building a Snowman on the sidewalk. Us West-Coasters aren't as used to the snow that some of you deal with all the time. When we get snow, the kids all celebrate cuz they cancel school for only a couple inches.
