florist arranging flowers What this means:

1. Your order will be sent to a local florist shop.
2. A florist will expertly design the flower arrangement. Most florist arrangements come with a free vase.
3. A florist will personally deliver the flowers by hand.

A $13.99 service charge applies to flowers and gifts delivered by a florist.

Reasons to choose florist delivery:

1. A florist provides not only the flowers, but the experience. Receiving flowers personally delivered by a florist provides a truly special and memorable moment for the special person in your life.

2. Same day delivery is available on all florist delivered items. Just place your order before 2:00 p.m. (12:30 p.m. Saturdays and 11:30 a.m. Sundays) in your recipient’s time zone, and they’ll get them the same day!

Please forgive me, I did not know that Bloomnet and 800 florist give a vases with each design, and still they put the florist delivery for the 13.99 service charge if you want a florist to deliver you gift!!!!
Out of control, certainly somebody out to be able to generate something about the fasle advertizement.
I know that it wont happen though.

Ahhh but it's a CELEBRATION!

Don't you feel the spirit?

Looks like the learning curve has kicked in and the consumer is realizing that flowers drop shipped out of South America aren't what they are cracked up to be and more people are looking to their local florist and this is their way of fighting back. But notice that $13.99 service fee is back too.

Now there's a crock. They'll take anyone they can to fill their orders, I was Bloomnet for awhile and never remember any contact except over the phone. We must be hurting them.

Now this is the biggest crock, even bigger than the free "shipping". This is an out and out lie. No one is even getting anything free on this statement. Like I said sometimes marketing teams will say anything to get the order....

Sorry, when I clicked on the 800 link I didn't see anything about a free vase. Just the xmas fields of europe. Can someone point me in the right direction?

When you arrive on the page to the right click on learn more about florist delivered items. There is no direct link to the pop up box

Well, gee. Now we know what inspired FTD's 'Free Vase' claim, too.

Monkey see, monkey do.

One thing you notice missing? Anybody...anybody... Bueller???

(ahh, my sense of humor is just not appreciated...)

Designed IN the vase. No where does it say that this product is actually DESIGNED in the vase. Apparently this is something to consider when filling this order. I know of at least one shop who fills A LOT of these orders...no design. He bunches the flowers (quick-hand tie with chenele stem) and cuts to length. Vase is packaged a la ProFlowers...at the bottom of the box.

Hmmmm...

Could use the same "technique" here as I stated in my last post...no where does it say IN the vase...

I have heard from my rep and she is looking into this for me. Not sure what kind of answers I will get but it is worth a try. She said she will get back to me tomorrow...

the "free" as in vase has been removed

How many people from here called their reps????

I would be amazed if my one complaint got the job done..I would also be very impressed...

Thanks, david for keeping an eye to the sky on this one....

It's actually quite amazing that FC has become such a formidable entity throughout the industry and indeed is closely monitored.
Kudos to all of the hard working people that have taken FC to it's current level.
