Yikes, another unhappy WS customer.

I submitted my 2 cents worth, also. It is a great way to educate the consumer even if it is only 1 or a few at a time.

DITTO on the REPLIES to her BLOG kids!

She, like numerous other consumers getting DUPED by the BAIT and SWITCH TACTICS being used by these PHONEY FLORIST ORDER INTERCEPTORS, deserve to know the facts to insure that, any future floral purchase they make will turn out to be a pleasant experience for both themselves and the loved ones they are sending their floral gift to.

It is UP TO US to expose the FRAUDS for what they are and what they really DOO TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!

Anytime I read a blog regarding a consumer GETTING THE SHAFT by any of those MIDDLEMEN or FARM DIRECT DROP SHI? DOO-IT-ALL-YOURSELF FLOWER KITS in a BOX, I make a point of educating that consumer.

Sure, it's only ONE CUSTOMER at a time, but IN TIME, they'll tell two friends and they'll tell two friends, etc., etc., etc..

I love when people come into my shop with a picture and info from proflowers and wants me to match the price they see. I let them know how they are not comparing apples to apples. I take their picture and count up the flowers and compare price. The answer usually is "yes I can do this for this price." I then gather up the flowers and and get a cardboard flower box and start to put them in it. This is usually where they stop me and ask what I am doing. I then tell them that that is exactly how they would be getting these flowers if ordered on the web. I then proceed to do a wonderful job of arranging or wrapping the flowers beautifully and charging for all the upgrades. It adds a bit of drama doing this this way, the customer gets the message loud and clear and actually thanks you as they leave with their flowers. People in my city love wrapped flowers. They all love to do it themselves, but my customers know the difference between a nicely packaged gift and a half assed box if junk, because I educate them....
