Hmm, I was just browsing the site for no reason...am I blind or do the products on FTD.com not even give item numbers so a person can call a florist and quickly identify the product by an item number?

They stopped putting them there just a short while back.

I entered my own zip code. I'm pretty sure that I could fill this order.

Ah but the kicker is, You are NOT codified with Their container, therefore you will not show up as a florist in your zip code !!
Did this three years ago and complained to my rep who told me....duh, that is how the computer system works! Say What???
maybe when they lost the "find a florist" link, they lost all the links to all their affiliate filling members........lol

Hey - That's a step in the right direction. They've always known where they can and cannot get codified orders filled - and yet they kept taking orders for places where no one had their containers. Frustrating for both buyers & florists.

Rather than handling it like they did with Joe, they should have a pop-up showing a similar item that's available in the zip code (poin in a plain basket with bow) and direct the user to an alternative. Instead, they left him to possibly repeat the process with more and more items.

$49.99???

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ain't that allot for a 4" point in a pot? (could be a 6", but still allot!)

Yes, lets see if they would send it via flower shop. 27 pct of $49.99 is what v 27 pct of $24.99. Just another profit ploy from good ol ftd.

WHAT??...and "miss" the opportunity to steal an order from a REAL FLORIST??
.Com is literally out of control, and the "proof" is in the number of times we get asked, IF we are the REAL FLORIST in town, and ask us to describe our location!!
Many OG's have blown it....FTD.com leading the pack!!
