I am posting these comments in an attempt to help and alert any FTD florists who are going to discontinue their affiliation with FTD.

Yesterday, I received a statement from FTD, that included a $146 credit. No check, just a voucher. (Why not just cut the check if they know they owe me the money. ) No comments I know why!!!

anyway...

I called FTD customer service and yes they owe me $146 for my last statement. My last date of membership at the branch shop was April 30.

In passing and in the back of my mind, I seem to have remembered that FTD owed me some money from my cancellation at the main store. I dropped FTD back in Sept 05. So I asked. Yes, FTD owes me $575 from almost 2 years ago!

I asked the CS rep, if I could have my money. He said that "they" are updating computers and are issuing checks as they are received. Hmm.

They owe me $575 for two years and they haven't gotten to paying me yet. This speaks ill of FTD.

Anyway, just keep in mind that when you do fire those SOB'S make sure you get the credit due you!

Joe

The only thing I am going to miss is reading that idiotic BS propoganda in the upper two left hand columns on the first page of the FTD Newsletter.

Joe, it took me well over a year, of polite letters and phone calls to less polite, to threatening to involve lawyers and ombudsmen if they didn't pay what was owed to the shop I used to work.

Joe, it's their "technology" thats the problem :>:boggles:

Best thing to do when you're on your way out the wire service door is make sure you owe them money, not the other way around.
