I need help with mechanics for a throw I'm doing tomorrow. It's for my wholesale rep and I'm flattered she's calling me because there are other florists closer to the funeral home that she could be using so...I want to make it extremely nice.

Anyway, this is the throw she chose, it's horizontal instead of vertical.

Any ideas? I've only done the vertical ones with flowers at the top. I have an idea of how to do this but....if you've done these before and have a easy way, I'm all ears!

Thanks!

Thanks Melissa (Ivygreen) for the suggestions and tips! I just used styrofoam to hang the throw and then mounted it lower on the easel and placed the flowers on top. It took a lot of extra chenille stems and tape but, it worked. It was much easier than I had anticipated.

I appreciate the call!!!

Ya know, I was thinking about that just as I was dropping it off at the funeral home this afternoon...I didn't even think to snap a picture before I left the shop, I was in too big of a hurry. I know, I'm awful.

Palms asked what a throw was so I looked in the gallery and found a pretty picture of one that Tracy D'Amico made.

Mine was very similar in styling but the afghan was hung horizontally instead.

Beautiful, Tracy!!!!
