Antoine Wright - Aggie Floral Designer

In case you haven't seen the news, New Jersey Nets player Antoine Wright was interviewed by Bob Costas last night. According to reports, Costas inferred that athletes at A&M were given 'puffy' courses to get them through - one of the classes being Floral Design.

About the design class, Antoine was quoted as saying “It’s not as easy as it sounds to be honest with you.”

I threw up a blog post about it and challenge Bob Costas to take a class from Jim Johnson at the Benz School at A&M. :>

CHR - how would you rate the Benz school compared to other schools (Phil's at top of course :bangles: )

This is fairly close to me, but I have never yet met anyone who attended the school or who can tell me about it.

Hi Annaleisa! My dad said he was delivering to you now! Strangely, I have not heard much at all about BENZ school. I do have a designer on the road to San Antonio now for a TSFA class. United told me that they had a show "in the works" but when I went to TSFA website it advertises 4/28 and 4/29 shows at United. Unfortunately that Saturday is one of our 2 big proms, so we probably won't attend. But I hate to miss any educational event, especially when it is so close.
