Have any FTD florist who had problems with FTD on Valentines (before and after) received any money back for missed orders? We were given promises, but now told "Nope, you are not getting anything back for any problems or missed orders."

Heard this from another florist that claims to have spoken to FTD.
Have not attempted to validate the statements so they may or may not be true.

1. The impact on FTD Florists was minimal.
2. If there was such a far reaching problem why were there so few complaints?
3. A small percentage of florists did in fact experience problems with transmitting and receiving orders for a very short period of time but the situation was corrected.

We have had conversations with FTD.
We are not satisfied with their handling.

We've had two non-FC FTD member post about their losses from the Merc crash on the RF Blog. http://realflorists.flowerchat.com/2007/02/19/ftd-tech-fiasco-leaves-angry-valentines/ One is from AZ, one is from MA.

Might want to give them a call.

I'm pretty sure private deals are being struck but as always it comes down to who you know and what's your volume.

You are dead on accurate in your above statement.
Wheelin and dealing is going on, which in fact could end up being a problem in the long run on both sides.
Somewhere in reading, researching and in the countless phone calls I think someone said that some lawyer somewhere was investigating discriminatory and preferential treatment, or something like that.
Have to try to recall where that came up.
Almost sure it was posted somewhere online.

If a creative legal mind starts really digging I guess anything is possible.

Hey Mikey, I don't know about you but I am glad that FTD won't be an issue for me in May. How about you?

CP, don't you just want to say "Kathy lets drop FTD!"

Actually, I could think of a few more descriptive phrases you would/want to use with your partner. ;)
