Any NASCAR fans outthere?

Daytona '06 is in the record books.... Are there anyother Nascar fans out here in floralland?

My whole family watches those men go round and round...I keep the cold beer and snacks coming...the kids have traveled to Phoenix and Daytona in
the past to watch...I stayed home, enjoyed the peace and quiet and read....jr and Jimmy Johnson are like the holy grail to the kids...I just think they look "hot" in those uni's!

I always beachted and moaned at every convention that FTD should have put the bucks they spend on chasing PF/800 onto a car and then seen the action but MS is ..well he just isn't! I'd love to see a flower car in the race...yeah baby....

I'm married to a die-hard Nascar fan. During the season, our schedule revolves around the circuit schedule. I don't mind because he understands my equal passion for figure skating (I just don't stand up and yell or cheer at the screen).

Tried to get BN to do that years ago. Hmmm.... come to think, maybe that's why he wouldn't consider it. Cause he and I NEVER saw eye to eye. And he probably HATED me cause I would openly disagree with him and he couldn't fire me.

Oh well, probably too late now. It'll take more than NASCAR advertising to overcome what the FTD geniuses have done and are doing to the company. Doubt if FTD could afford to put their name on a car now.

Na$car poor here !! Own 4 tickets to Fall race at New Hampshire International and 6 tickets to July race. Baby daughter and I split the costs but still hurts the credit card twice/year.
Have been a junkie since I was a teen ager and they only showed about 4 races a year on the TV the 500 being one of them. Good old ABC!!
The girls at the shop groan every year during Speed Weeks especially if it falls during Valentine's Week......vrooom vrooom on the TV at the shop!

So funny that you brought this up Joe. I was going to ask who had watched the race but I figured no one else was a fan.
I am a die hard Jr. fan Rhonda, I know what you mean. We have Brickyard tickets and Lordy how I squeak in August!!
