Any thoughts on Gold Medallion Florist Network?

Has anyone heard of Gold Medallion Florist Network? www. 800send.com

Any thoughts on them? They contacted us today to join with them... said they needed a shop in our area, however there are already 2.

Orders are florist to florist with florists keeping 100%. Fee is under $600 per year and includes a directory and their website for you. Florists use their own Credit Card to pay you for orders they call into you.

You don't need them. I had them several years ago. As long as you pay the membership anyone can join.

Not worth spending your money on. Use it somewhere else.
 
This will be the biggest mistake you could make..I wouldn't it will not help you at all, Disclaimer It is up to you,but This is my take on them...

Run forest run.....

You'll pay them and maybe get 3 orders a year, maybe..

Oh yeah, you can usually get it for less than 350.00 if you negotiate..
 
I used GM for 1 year and got nothing that I know of. When it came time to re-up, they never called me, but debited my account that they had on file. Boy was I steam'in!!! Took 3 weeks to get my $ back. What a bunch of scam artists!!:mad:

I don't know anyone who would search for that "key word" really, I think the consumer is smarter than that and would at the least search *city*florist.

Added: Actually on Google they turn up number 4 for that term with Floristdetective.com 10th ;)

LOL if they cally you again, tell them to give ME a call, I've been trying to reach them for the past 9 mnths trying to get my money back didnt get a single order. btw did they leave you a contact phone number? can I have it?
 
I didn't go with Gold Medallion

I e-mailed "Joe" on Friday because he said he was going to call me this past Friday and I wanted him to have an answer. I said.... "You told me you didn't have a florist in Hancock what gives, when you have two on your website?"

He called and claimed that they have "thousands" of orders in Hancock and the two florists can't handle them all. I about fell off my bar stool, (yes, that's what I use for a computer chair!)

I told him that I have chatted with florists from all over the U.S. and they all said "Run Forrest run"! So, thus I had to trust my fellow florists and not go with Gold Medallion. He was ticked and demanded your names and; numbers of which I refused to give. He said you're all liars, they have been in business for 18 years; and in the last 10 years have not had a single complaint. Hm..... possibly having his ears irrigated to clean them would help this poor gent. He hung up on me.

So... I stuck with the rest of you... I didn't sign.

I won't call "Joe" so as I don't waste his precious time, but you can give him my name.... BOSS and have him contact me here LOL... ;)
 
They never get any documented complaints? Probably because they don't return phone calls. ;)

don't bother you'll get the same message as if you would call Golden Medallion. I already tried. Oh yeah and I wish "Joe" would've called me too. what a waste of money...................................................

Stay away you will not get any or not enough orders to pay back the Membership ...
also the will even give you offers and good deals do not take it . We had bad expirience with Gold Medallion.Put your money in on the Internet who uses Directory anymore nobody .....anyway that is my thoughts on that:)
