Are any of the Flower chat members attending the AIFD symposium in Washington, D. C. in July? If so, maybe we can get together at some point and visit. I am very interested in knowing who is going.

My bride is going. . .

Kathie (while not an active FC participant, she hears all the good stuff about y'all through me) is going to be taking her AES(?). This will be her first time trying.

I will not be attending, and $$$$ I $$$$ don't $$$$ know $$$$ why!

She is nervously looking forward to it.

Sorry to say but neither Scott or I will be attending this year. With the new shop it is hard for us to get away because of prior committments and $$.

Glenn, Wish Katie the very best form us in her AES. Tell her to go and have a great time and enjoy every minute of this expierence. It is one she will remember for a lifetime.

Rich, it won't seem right not seeing you or Scott wandering around at Symposium. You will be missed.

Maybe next year.

Beth, I am looking forward to seeing you at AIFD. Coby and you did an outstanding job at Texas State. Neither of you will have any trouble passing your testing. Be sure and look me up.

She Passed !!!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS, PRAISE GOD, HALLEUJAH, CLAP, SHOUT, WHISTLE, CLAP, HUG, CLAP, SHOUT AND ALL THAT OTHER EXCITING STUFF !!!

Now that I have that out of my system.

Kathie passed her AIFD, first try. Glad its over.
She gets new business cards.

I guess that means I get to go next year for the big award ceremony.

Whooo Hooo! Congratualtions!

Rich Dudley posted in FloristBlogs about one of their designers, Polly Berginc, being accepted, too.

And while we're at it - congratulations to Marlene Adams and Mary Gardner of Fischer Flowers in Atlantic City (owned by cf8) on being accepted on their first tries as well.

Phone calls have been rolling in from freinds and former students these last couple of days.

Must have been an outstanding group of applicants and that's good for AIFD and good for the industry. :)

Congratulations to Kathie. I never got to meet her in Washington. Maybe next year I will meet you both when she is inducted.

It truly is a big accomplishment to get to that level and is certainly not easy to achieve. I am anxiously awaiting the word from several of my friends that tested this year to see if they passed.

Kudos!!!

Kathie passed her AIFD, first try. Glad its over.

Great!! Kudos!!!!!!!!

My wife Linda and I attended at St. Louis in 2003. It was well worth it and an exciting and informative time.

Alas, because of the huge $$$$ involved we have been unable to attend since then

YEAH Haw!!!!

I passed also!!!:musical:

I have to send out a big congratulations to Coby Neal and Alex Torres. They passed as well. It looks like we are going to be a big induction class. I can't wait to meet all those being inducted at Palm Desert.

I have been smiling since yesterday when the letter arrived. I'm so glad to have you guys to share it with. It's a great accomplishment and only those in the industry truly know what it means.

Thanks and CONGRATULATIONS to ALL!!!

Congrats to all...especially the Texas Bunch...Alex, Beth & Coby !!!

Way to reach for your dreams!!! Keep up the great work!

There was no doubt in my mind that Alex, Beth and Colby would pass the test. Congratulations. What a great time you will have in Palm Dessert next summer. The Texas group sure did a good job....way to go.
