For the first time in 20 years I am going on a big vacation! I am heading to Williamstown N.J to visit my sister and I will be in and around Philly for 4 days in October. Would love to visit some shops while I am there, is there anyone on this board in the area?

Philly Flower Guy is from Philly, as is PhillyPhlorist. Look up in Members list for their info.

By the way, enjoy!

Hi Missy!

You're welcome to stop by my Philly shop - VERY easy to get to from Center City, and LOTS of GOOD shopping around too! We are in the Mt. Airy district, and a stones throw from Chestnut Hill - on Germantown Ave.

Kremps is a NICE shop - Charles 3rd. is very active in SAF. They just redid their shop. However, they are in Willow Grove, about an hour's drive from Center City. All Occasions is basically a productions shop. Keith is the owner and would be happy to show you how he fills a lot of the 800 flowers orders in Philly - he was one of the first LFC's for 800.
Ten Pennies is located on Broad St. and the owners have lots of political connections. Also, their store is not that big, but well done and they put out a lot of party work!!! The owners are sometimes hard to get hold of - Jerry and Ann.

Some things you MUST do:
- Liberty Bell
- Penn's Landing
- take the River ferry to NJ to see the Camden Aquarium & go aboard the Battleship NJ - VERY cool...
- Philly Zoo
- National Constitution Center and all the attactions around it.
- Gino's Steaks ... not Pats...just my opinion ;-)
- learn how to say "Passyunk Ave."

Give me a call if you plan to stop by - (215) 247-0832 - ask for Herb 3rd. (just to make sure I'm here...)

- H.
