what happens if you ask for a price change on an incoming order that was forwarded to you. Does the price change ask message go to the forwarding florist or to the original sender??
Anyone know....

Long story but here go's
We got an order yesterday at 1:15pm from them for the hospital and as usual I was just going to reject it as we've had problems with them before....but it was a real quiet day and had designer doing nothing and cooler full of flowers so I thought I'd look it up and see what it was on their web site, counted the flowers and priced it out at $20.00 more than they sent after doing the Canadian conversion thing so I sent them an ask for price change.
Didn't hear anything back until we got a message from them at 7:15pm that night requesting del con and signature (we never get signatures in this small town). I sent them an answer message stating that we could not deliver until we got a reply to our ask message and that if they wanted a signature we would need another $10.00.
Didn't hear another thing until today at 5:55pm when 800-flowers calls to inquire about the order.......told the operator that we were waiting for a reply to our ask messages, she told me that she never received them because the order was sent to another town and the florist there forwarded it to us, she also claims that the only way she knew that we had the order was that she phoned the other florist about non delivery.....I know that's BS as we have sent orders to the wrong town in error and always received a mercury message that our order was forwarded.
Live and learn!!!!!!! never again will we even look an 800-flowers order, we'll play cards and eat the flowers before and 800-flowers order gets filled here.......now I've just got to figure out how to progam Mercury to do automatic rejects so we can have more time to play cards!!!
