mine is off a little...but if anyone else has a better method of cogs for specific price points...please respond...

I have one that I have been using for years. It is only a typed copy, so I'd be happy to fax it to you. It is very easy to use, especially when pricing set pieces.

I decided to go ahead and type this up and save it. So here is what I have been using for years. I find it very helpful and a time saver. I'm sure there are many other ways too.

thanks anyway for your time and effort....It's not what i meant. Keystoning is a formula....a formula that i dont remember. I have charts in my shop showing hom much in flowers for each price point....example...$50 has 34 in flowers retail, etc....

Maybe this is what you mean.....

now its all coming back to me....i think you're a little high on ur vases...they are supposed to be 10% of the cost of the arrangement....20% or so on labor...

Nevertheless...i really appreciate your time and effort

Josh

I found lost $ when I bought our flowershop in the way labor was calculated.

Here are examples of the right and wrong way to calculate labor (IMO):

If labor is 25%

Wrong:
Total $ per stem flowers, filler, greens + container X 25%
eg. 50 + 10 x 25% = $75

Right:
Total $ per stem flowers, filler, greens + container ÷ .75
e.g. $50 + $10 ÷ .75 = $80
