feel like sending some sunshine my way? Feeling affects of January blues...SAD is real and is living with me at the moment.

REALLY REALLY REALLY MISS THE SUNSHINE!!! I'm off early today and would love to visit the lake but it's storming again. :(

Thanks for listening.

Of course I feel like sending you sunshine, but FedEx and UPS have both been here already. So has the USPS, for that matter, but I know that sending you sunshine though the mail would fail, given Canada Post's famous rapid delivery schedule.

What's wrong? Is it just the grayness? The storm? Take some of those sunny smiley faces you distribute so readily and fill your pockets - and your eyes and your senses with smiles from your FlowerChat friends. Then look outside and write a snipet for us. Your thoughts of sadness will be displaced by your creativity and inspiration. You can draw strength from those clouds and storminess. Use it to advantage!

A barrel of New England sunshine (we really do have some today, for a change, together with frigid cold) is my wish for you.

No messing around!

Hi girl! I don't know you, but that doesn't matter. My husband and I are bikers and live in the Detroit area. Cold, snowy, blizzary, & gloomy! It is just killin' us. We talk about moving to Florida almost everyday. We just got back from there on vacation. We have to find things to do. We exercise in our basement. We drive around with no destination. We go shopping. (He is the shopping fool, not me) We make sure we get out every day as we live in my flower shop and one can go batty never going outside. We were both alcoholics and recluse's for the last three years, heavy duty. We have not had a drink since last March 17th. It is an effort sometimes as we are tired and can so easily say, let's just stay in. It is depressing and effects one more than a person would think. Well, sorry to ramble. I used to go tanning also and it was definitey a mood changing event even though so simple. I have also sent others' flowers when I felt blue. Not for everyone to do, but it sure makes me feel good.

Hi Mike:

I'll send you my snail mail address...thank you for asking.

Patty: What a wonderful and courageous accomplishment for you both. I do hope you feel pride in your efforts. I send you hugs...and prayers for continued strengh in your convictions.

I also thank you for your kind words and thoughts...very much appreciated.

Ryan...I'm basking in the glow and heat emanating from my screen. Thank you so much...I'm smiling. :)

Well now Lady Biker Florist....

I have just ONE thing to say...
You're AMAZING....weakness is NOT one of your strong suits, you have ALL my admiration!!
Mike

A hug from here

Ah Victoria , take heart, in case you haven't noticed the days are already getting longer and the sun is not far off. In another month you'll be so busy you won't notice the weather and before you know it it will be spring , not that we get spring here. It goes from dead winter to summer overnight , spring is just an illusion to us . Take care and have a sunny day.

*hugs and :)'s* to all of you. The sun rose this morning, hoisted on your shoulders I'm sure.

I'm so fortunate to be a part of this kind community of souls.

I'm going to buy some tulips today...fiery red I think.

:)

Truly the light is sweet,
and a pleasant thing it is
for the eyes to behold the sun

Have a happy day, Victoria!
