I see that FTD.com has them on sale at 15% off. It would be pretty funny if I did not have so many of the dang things in my stock room...

Oh, well at least I'm sold out of everything else :beer

We had 48, I broke 2 and we have about 10 left. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

We actually sold two today. One customer came in and wanted anything that she could walk out the door with so I sold her the one in the cooler for $35 The other one was actually an FTD order.

I got NO orders for them incoming or outgoing.
Did get several outgoing for the Kincaid Chapel. (no lnger TF) ordered via the planet and gave $55 plus delivery to the filling florist.
Was the Chapel as bad as the house? Had 3 different cases shipped last year and the quality varied greatly. If I was the artist Kincaid, I would not be happy to see that. But I understand that he has assiistants who paints for him and he signs the paintings. (I know he will say all the masters did it.)
FTD only has the brand going for it. That is what the Green Co bought. TF understands better that marketing the containers works better. (If they were only better made!)

I had 13 village/cottages left from last year. The one with the snowman. One of the six packs were extremely heavy and the other six pack was very light in comparison. You could hold one in one hand and one in the other hand and the difference in weight was astounding. Anyone know why they made them out of two different substances? And no it was not because one had batteries in it and the other didn't. Anyway ours all looked to be painted accurately. We did manage to get rid of all but a couple this year. Still had two from the year before with the lamppost in front and two people bought sets of all three. (Chapel/Snowman/Lampost)

I keep hearing about poor quality of TF holiday containers in some shops. Is it just luck? Have not had any poor quality yet. Someone mentioned on the other board that the sleigh liner dripped maroon colored water if it got wet. I typed up little info papers to go with them and when we got our sleighs and filled them that was not happening with ours. So much inconsistent info with the TF containers. Weird??

What Quality Patty?

I pointed that very same thing out last year to Them and the other board and received my fair share of @#$@#^&*.

I'm through now with the LIES. If I lied like they do with my customers..."I might as well face it I'm addicted to Love".

Pure overpriced Dishware.

My houses from last year varied in weight also. The arms on the snowmen in the first shipment were thin and looked like the twigs they were supposed to be. One other shipment had different arms, straight and untwiggy-like. Seemed "bolted" on. I broke one or two of the twiggy ones. The painting varied in quality, too.
I have seen better quality out of China....TY for example.

The only problems that I have had with TF stuff as far as quality is with those stupid talking bears at V-day last year. Sent the whole lot of them back.
I sold the last 3 chapels yesterday, some lady called from out of town and wanted all of them. No flowers just the chapels. I put up my holiday clearance table yesterday with the Waterdawgs right in the middle in a basket with a big sign for $1.99 and have not sold one.

I took one of the un-sold Waterford arrangements home. I took the ornament out and put it on the tree. Even with the level of stuff we have on the tree (I am talking a lot of stuff and I mean a lot) it stands out quite nicely. However the arrangement now looks a little wierd with the plastic holder just sitting there.
Sort of looks like a clear praying mantis raising
up out of the arrangement ready to strike.
