Apparently Mercury was down for much of the country yesterday

'Phoning is probably impractical but they could e-mail all of their members. They can notify members on FTD's Facebook or Twitter, assuming you use and care to follow what they say - doubtful for most members but they should have done it. They could also put something on the florist section of FTD.com where more members are likely to see it.

Over-all, communicating the issue to their members should, after working to fix the problem, have been paramount. Or is the apparent "no notification" the nature of the service FTD provides their members, not really caring an iota?
