I look for this one to blow up big time, maybe even into a class action suit, but perhaps not, as anyone with an iDevice signed on for it in the terms and conditions...

Definately creepy, but I was happy to see that encryption of this data possible, or wiping everything with "Find My Phone" is possible. A sad state of affairs that this has to become a concern though.

When Apple launched the 2 gig iPhone, someone had already "mentioned"/reported that THOSE units could be "tracked", and no one paid attention...I wonder why NOW, all of a sudden....?

Not just iPhone's Mikey... most Androids do the same thing, at least with an iPhone you can encrypt the files yourself...
