Applying for university

I’m preparing to write a Personal Statement as part of my application to university. I want to ‘get it right’. This is a whole new experience for me. I owned and operated a flower shop for nearly five years, which took me out of the education/media cesspool, except for being an avid reader/listener, and applying my writing/graphics/communication skills to my business’s success. I’m applying to enter a master’s program in Professional Communication.

If anyone on FC cares to share their own Personal Statement that they used as part of their application to university, I would 100% appreciate that you share your successful bid. Any and all input would help me to realize how to word this thing! PM me if you prefer. Thank you, in advance....

When I went to University all we had to do was have good marks in school and pass an entrance exam. We didn't have to write a Personal Statement as well.
Good Luck with your statement. I'm sure you won't have any problem with it.
