so this was a GREATTTTTT mother's Day for us, we were busy all week, now at 2:45 Saturday , we are only taking orders that are close to us. We are delivering them ourselves. Walk ins are still comming..and of course the last minuteurs. We dare not sit down, we will never get back up. Tom Hortens run soon, for iced cap and coffee...maybe some CHOCOLATE.....I am sure that I am skinnyer today...I deserve it. Hope everyones week was good....Damm its good to be florists...that's a song I'm sure ...its almost goodnite Gracie time...

Staff brought coffee when we started up at 5:00 this morning.

...and me thinks I need another to last the day...

Took three last second orders that got in before the bell. The girls just walked out the door to deliver them. Now off to go shopping for MY mom and dinner with the girls at Cheeseburger in Paradise (that's their pay for the day)! I sold all the plants that I had reserved for her :( (or should that be a :>?????)

It was one hell of a day. Busier than I've ever been for Mother's Day...and everyone wanted delivery today and not tomorrow.

I feel like I'm rambling but I'm just so glad to be done by 4:00...never thought it would happen.

Off shopping....hope you guys have just as rockin' of a weekend!!
 
5:06 and driver is on her way back from the two other towns we serve. She has 15 more deliveries here in town before I can go home...
It's been a very good holiday.... Thank You !!

Had a good day, nothing like some of you bigger florists but enough work for a one-person shop. I'll be open tomorrow too, hoping to catch some last minute peeps. :)
 
maybe we spell it differently in Ontario.....:itchy:all is done, its Sunday and I think I have housework to do. I can't find the dogs..or the cats....or the kids.....but I do know where the chocolate is....I have been saved...
