I love facebook. None of my siblings live in Canada, so it allows us to easly share photos without sending large files in emails!!! Plus, I have reconnected with people I have not seen in 25 years.

No not addicted to FB.
Think it's kind of stupid.
I only joined because I started getting so many friend requests.

I really don't care to see all that's going on daily in so many peoples lives.
Kind of takes the mystery out of long lost friends. It's so superficial.

I had my first serious boyfriend - from when I was 16 - 17 - get in touch with me. That really didn't need to happen.

Can you tell I'm tired and very crabby???

My web lady is setting up a Cherry Blossoms Facebook page and Twitter page for me. She tells me it's important. She's wonderful!!!!!

A side note -

Master J,
I love your website.
It's warm and real and an actual visit into your shop and family.

I absolutely love it!!!!

No I am not addicted, have to admit it did get me a little bit when i first joined but now i nip on to say hello or to make a group arrangement with my friends. Other than that no, I could take or leave it.

Now this place, thats a whole new matter!!!

I love facebook. I don't think it's stupid. I have been able to connect with old friends and make new ones. It's just a conversation, only online instead of in person. I also think it's beneficial for business. Yay facebook! (fc & twitter too but I will try to stay focused here.)

I know plenty of people who aren't into the Internet thing, they don't even like to check email. To each their own I guess.

Used to be addicted, but Flowerchat has taken over that. No time for FB anymore! I do like to re-connect with old friends and shares pics though.

What's facebook? Hardbound or paperback?

It has it's benefits. I enjoy connecting with some old friends, I just wish there was a less @@@@@y way to not totally be friends with some people. Like if there were 2 tiers of friends, that would be great!!! Your real friends were able to communicate all the time, and the acquaintance people could only see so much information. I can't handle the quippy conversations with people from high school who never talked to me then, but now are nosy Nellies! Sorry, I'm crabby like Cherrie, LOL!!!

Although, as a parent, I love it!!! I am friends with both of my kids on there, so I can monitor their activity. Don't tell them I figured it out though, or they'll be on to the next thing. :hammer:

Yes, serious addiction. Already received several orders because of it. I like it because I am often too busy working to have a social life. FB gives me an opportunity to wind down after a long day. I have over 150 friends from high school, including a few ex-boyfriends. If I can have fun and promote my business at the same time, it's a win-win for me.

Also, if FlowerChat had an option to send cocktails to each other...the bar would always be full!

I joined, but to tell you the truth....I don't think I have really figured it out. Right now, it kind of seems boring and a waste of time.

Have it on my blackberry. Perfect in traffic, sitting at lights, waiting in line, sitting at a restaurant/bar waiting for a friend. I drive my husband crazy tho... "hello are WE having dinner or what??".

I don't really do it as much on my computer... just the occasional quiz, or to check out friends new pics, or comment on peoples comments/quizzes. (Can you tell I am a sucker for a dumb quiz??)

I actually have probably 1/3rd old friends that I could care very little about, 1/3rd industry/FC friends, 1/3rd current friends. I love that I can see what people are up to when I have a sitter and can go out (after reading their status update). I love the events feature. I usually have 3-4 things I am invited to per month via facebook. I like it better than evite. I also think it's fun to learn a little more about the FC-ers through FB.

I joined sh!tter this morning - give me something to do besides read a magazine and shoot cookie dough while doing the morning bidness.

I'm excited to chat with others about how everything is coming out.

Do you sh!tter?

We've got FC, we've got twitter, we've got facebook, we've got linked in, and others I don't even know about.

Although they are good in a lot of ways, you've got to draw the line somewhere and get off the computer and spend real time with real people face to face. Also, just have time for yourself when you can think out a problem, clear your mind from your busy day and revisit something that happened that day, and laugh about it all over again to yourself.

have used facebook a while, but I love flowerchat, more information from flowerchat than facebook. Thanks for all the help you offer, especially the dollar vases from the dollar store. Mattie
